This past week was our neighboring county's fair. Thursday was the livestock auction, where the 4-H kids sell their animals to buyers for both meat and back to farm breeding stock. We took this opportunity to support a 4-H member and grow our flock by one ewe. Our purchase was from a first year 4-H member. On Sunday we went back to the fair to pick her up. As we loaded the ewe up onto our truck I asked if she had a name. "Yes, it's Chocolate Chunk". Chocolate Chunk, welcome to Whinmont Farm. By the way, I happen to love the name Chocolate Chunk.
